LASALLE Work and Projects
A collection of project work done during my 2 years in LASALLE. Tasks consist of minor projects from module classes to major projects for each semester.
Additional to the usual project work, we are encouraged to take extra-curricular activities to pad up our portfolio. Examples include attending 24 hour Comic Day challenge, to participating in Graduate Show.
The Kite Effect - Final Year Project
A Final Major done in my last year in LASALLE, which I have co-produced with my classmate, Prescilia. We came up and discussed with the story and the concept, and got to work with designing the animation's look.
I was tasked with designing the protagonist of our animation (the Weatherman) and the environment he lives in. It went through many changes before we decided on the final look. Some designs were also scrapped too when it was not used. Storyboards were switched between me and my partner during several revisions while I pieced the animatic and the subsequent changes of it.
After that, I was tasked animating the second half of the whole animation, of the Weatherman dealing with disaster at hand, and the villagers reaction in between the Weatherman scenes.

Major and Minor Projects
Both major and minor projects were done during my school years in LASALLE. A major project was done for each semester with some minor projects based on the different class modules taken.
Included in are also works done outside of our classes, like a 24-hour Animation Challenge, inspired by the 24-hour Comic Challenge that LASALLE holds with other organizing partners.
Path of the Ninja - Concept Art
A Major Assignment done in the first Semester of Year 2. A new character needs to be created and a short animation with regards to the character's personality.
For my character, I made him confident and enthusiastic, determined to finish an obstacle course he has planned at the fitness corner. Even though he fails in athletic activities, he is still determined to finish it before the set time.
Freezespray - Concept Art
Freezespray Advertisement was done in the second Semester of my second year in LASALLE. The theme given to us for our Major Assignment was to create an imaginary product and put it in an advertisement to sell it. I had a few ideas of imaginary product, some were making use of a common item we see at home but selling it with a different use; to items which can't be made in reality.
Eventually, I chose to work on the idea of having a spray which can freeze anyone in a split second, and set to work on the designs of the characters and the environment.

Side Projects
One of the pieces I drew for a curveball project in school for Campus magazine cover. The theme given is along the lines of inappropriate designs of children's toys. For this, I drew a girl playing with an easy bake oven which uses real heat and electricity to bake the cookies, which is inappropriate and dangerous for kids.
